Bakersfield will be hosting an annual Turkey Bowl the weekend after Thanksgiving!
All are welcome to visit and watch our flag football event! Eight co-ed teams with players from all schools around Bakersfield will be playing for fun with their community!
Like every football game, the objective is to get the ball to the goal line located on the opposing team's side of the field.
The rules will be discussed more thoroughly on the day of the event but to sum them up:
No cheating, flags will be worn outside of shirts.
No tackling, shoving, or deliberately attempting to hurt another player.
Each touch down is worth 6 points.
Notes:
Players are required to be students of local schools and must be between the ages 13-22.
Teams of seven can be registered by their team captains while individual players will be grouped together.
There will be a bracket consisting of fair teams, each team will play four games.
