What is SHSS:
Sikh Honors & Service Society is a statewide program to promote and honor service, leadership, and academic excellence among students.
Sikh Honors and Service Society (SHSS) seeks to unite and educate Sikhs and non-Sikhs on their high school campuses in order to build power and spirit for community service, academic excellence, and social justice.
Membership:
Who can join?
SHSS welcomes high school students currently enrolled in any school. SHSS is an inclusive organization that treats everyone equally and does not discriminate based on any criteria. Every student, regardless of their academic performance, is eligible and encouraged to become a member.
SHSS is open to all students and seeks to honor those dedicated to academic excellence and service (seva). All should look at the SHSS Membership guide to see how you can get involved. A minimum of 10 hours of community service hours is required. Please complete the following information; more details will soon follow for each community.
