April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and the Jakara Movement and its Paaras Youth Center are determined to bring more attention to this issue that is far too often made silent in our community. Bring your family and join us for a the very important movie - India's Daughter. This movie follows the infamous gang rape and murder of a student in 2012. This movie has been banned in India, however it has gone viral online and has been talked about by many major news outlets such as CNN and BBC. This film will be followed by a discussion and open forum setting for all and any who would like to participate. Bring your family and let's bravely face and bring to this open this subject that has for too long been taboo.
