Dhol101 is an introductory course to Dhol. We will explore a bit of the history of Dhol in Punjab, and how it has developed in the states. This is a course aimed at individuals that have very little to no exposure to Dhol. This course will also cover very basic dhol beats that will help build a solid foundation for future Dholis. 

The course is open to all, ages 13+.  We will be meeting on 3 Sunday mornings - every 2 weeks from 10-11am at the Paaras Youth Center.

Join anytime, even if you miss a class - come to learn and love the dhol.  For boys and girls, men and women!

9/20/15 - The Basics – The Bol
10/4/15 – Lehariyan – The History 
10/18/15 – Dhamaal – Folk Stories of the Punjab
