Kaur Voices is an evening of spoken word, songs, acts and art that give voice to silenced feminine narratives and bring light to issues of gender dynamics and roles within the Punjabi, Sikh community. This year, we are trying something different. We are giving the event the theme of "The Talk We Never Had." We will also be holding a pre-Kaur Voices writing workshop two weeks earlier, on February 6th, to encourage new writers and speakers.
We would be more than honored to be witness to your stories and journeys. Fill out the following application to let your voice be heard and talents be seen! (If you are performing as a part of a group, please only submit one application. Please submit an application for artwork submitted to be showcased.) Also, feel free to submit something unrelated to this year's theme.
