It's back.... Sikholars 2014 will soon be approaching and in anticipation we have released our "call for papers." For the past five years, the Jakara Movement has created a forum for graduate students and researchers, working on various projects related to Sikh and Punjab Studies, to come together, share, and challenge one another. Since last year, we have found a home with Stanford University’s Center of South Asia and have formed an engaging partnership.
If you are a graduate student or know one, encourage them to submit an abstract for Sikholars 2014. All applications are due by October 31, 2013. Two special panels will be formed - one on the "theeja ghallughara" and another on entrepreneurship. Please spread the word and read more details at the official website - www.sikholars.org
