Educators of Punjabi Descent 2024

Calling all California teachers, admin, classified staff, school board members, and anyone with a career in education or interested in one. Join us for our second conference aimed at Punjabis to create community, build networks, and celebrate futures in education.

We want to bring classified, certificated, management, supervisors, and school board members of Punjabi descent to come and celebrate one another and their futures in the field of education. We seek to encourage young Punjabis to consider a career in education. We also hope to build networks for mentorship, support, and professional development for Punjabis in education to reach their career aspirations, no matter their current level.

Please register for the conference at the link and encourage friends and family to join you. We are asking for a $10 donation to help offset the costs of lunch. We look forward to being in touch shortly.

This is such an inspiring initiative! It’s so important to build communities and networks, especially within education. Reading this made me think about how learning and growing professionally can be a bit like playing Doodle Baseball (you know, that simple online game?). You don’t always hit the ball perfectly the first time – or get that grant, or nail that presentation – but each swing (or attempt!) teaches you something new.
