Jakara Juniors was a great success this year and I'm thrilled to have gotten the opportunity to volunteer at the camp. The day was packed with a variety of activities that not only educated the children, but also taught me a few things. I got to meet and interact with many inspiring people who constantly emphasized the importance of going to the Gurdwara.
By educating the youth on aspects of Sikhi, I believe that I've helped in keeping our religion and its meaning alive. After being part of such a stimulating event I'll be sure to cherish the memories until next event!
