As the month of Vaisakh is upon us, we need your help to bring the community together. This year on Sunday, June 4th, 2023 we would like to screen the award-winning film - the Khalistan Centre's acclaimed documentary, the Battle of Amritsar.

ਇਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਵਿਸਾਖ ਦੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਇੱਕ ਖਾਸ ਅਰਜ਼ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਿਰ ਹਾਂ। ਤੀਸਰੇ ਘੱਲੂਘਾਰੇ ਦੀ 39ਵੀਂ ਬਰਸੀ ਮੌਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਮੀਊਨਿਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਘੱਲੂਘਾਰੇ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਜਾਣੂ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਅਸੀਂ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਸਮੂਹ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਸਾਡਾ ਟੀਚਾ ਹੈ 4 ਜੂਨ 2023, ਦਿਨ ਐਤਵਾਰ, ਨੂੰ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਡਾਕੂਮੈਂਟਰੀ ਫਿਲਮ 'ਬੈਟਲ ਔਫ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ' ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਧਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਿਖਾਉਣਾ। ਇਸ ਮਕਸਦ ਲਈ ਅਸੀਂ ਰੇਗਲ ਮਾਰਕੀਟ ਪਲੇਸ ਐਟ ਅਲ ਪਾਸੋ ਥੀਏਟਰ ਨੂੰ ਰਿਜ਼ਰਵ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਇਹ ਥੀਏਟਰ ਹਾਈਵੇਅ 99 ਅਤੇ ਹਰਨਡੌਨ ਟਾਰਗੇਟ ਸ਼ੌਪਿੰਗ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ। ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ 350 ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਫਿਲਮ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਸਾਡਾ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਕੁੱਲ $4,000 ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਹੈ।

We want to book the Regal Market Place @ El Paso (Highway 99 and Herndon Target shopping complex) for a theatre-experience that will be free to the first 350 attendees.

The cost to rent the theatre with additional supplement is $3,300 on the weekend. We hope to provide some food and any additional funds will be sent to the filmmakers. We are asking 40 sevadaar/nis to stand up and donate $100 to make this available for all.

ਇਸ ਥੀਏਟਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀਕਐਂਡ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਿਰਾਏ ਉੱਤੇ ਲੈਣ ਦਾ ਖਰਚਾ $3,300 ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਫਿਲਮ ਦੀ ਸਕਰੀਨਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਖਾਣ-ਪੀਣ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਵੀ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਬਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਾਰੇ ਫ਼ੰਡ ਇਸ ਫਿਲਮ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਕਾਰਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਮੀਊਨਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 40 ਸੇਵਾਦਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੇਵਾਦਾਰਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ। ਸਾਡਾ ਟੀਚਾ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ 40 ਸੇਵਾਦਾਰਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ $100 ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਕਮੀਊਨਿਟੀ ਵਿਚਲੇ ਕਈ ਸੇਵਾਦਾਰ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਵੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਸਾਡੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਮੀਊਨਿਟੀ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਤੌਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਸ ਕਾਰਜ ਲਈ ਸੇਵਾ ਦਾ ਬੀੜਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ।

ਅਸੀਂ ਉਮੀਦ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ-ਮਿੱਤਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਸ ਕੌਮੀ ਕਾਰਜ ਦੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੁੱਲ-ਦਿਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣਾ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਉਗੇ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਜ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਪਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਲਿੰਕ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਲਿੱਕ ਕਰੋ ਜੀ।

As we celebrate and remember the 39th anniversary of the Third Ghallughara, we want to create an event for the whole community - for grandparents and grandchildren to come together and learn. The film is in Punjabi with English subtitles.
