The JAKARA MOVEMENT is pleased to be a part of Bhangra, B-Boys, & BreakBeats. This event is a multi-cultural collaboration of Punjabi Folk art with a mix of Hip-Hop and Breakdancing. The theme of this night is visualizing and embodying the connection between traditional indian music & culture, and hip-hop. Holding on to tradition has always been an act against assimilation. By reaching back and reclaiming our roots, this night will be noted as the evolution and re-affirmation of our resistance.
