The latter part of the year is approaching and while holiday shopping starts earlier and earlier each year, we thought we'd try to beat the rush and ask you to SMILE FOR US!
It's extremely easy - Amazon.com has started a program called SMILE - and donates .5% of the price of your eligible purchases to the nonprofit organization of your choice. So spend $1000, and we get $5. We know it isn't much, but hey it's something and at no cost to you, other than making sure you enlist yourself.
All you have to do is go to smile.amazon.com and then enter your favorite charity - ahem, of course it's yours truly - YOUR 'jakara movement'. Then anytime you start to buy anything on amazon (and all of us do), just start at smile.amazon.com instead of www.amazon.com - yes you have to type in the word 'smile' - but it'll make us smile, and hopefully you as well.
