LALKAAR (ਲਲਕਾਰ) The longest-running Sikh conference in the US, Lalkaar is one of a kind. It creates a platform where difficult, thought-provoking, and inspirational conversations take place on topics ranging from but never limited to, The Guru Granth Sahib: The History of the Sikh Soul, Kaur Voices: Exhalt, Express, Empower, Gurudware: Empowering Local Democracy, 1984: The Battle of Amritsar & Beyond, and Building Begampura: Confronting Caste. Our Sikh youth come together and create a forum in which these conversations flourish as we expand on and openly discuss issues that affect us as individuals and as a greater Panth. What brings our Sikh youth back to Lalkaar year after year since 2000? Now in its 24th year, the longevity of the conference speaks for itself. Join us as we continue these vital conversations.

Early Registration: April 8th - April 30th $155 ($30 Registration + $125 Hotel)

Regular Registration: May 1st - May 24th $200 ($50 Registration + $150 Hotel)

Late Registration: May 25th - June 6th $ 250 ($75 Registration + $175 Hotel)

Being a facilitator means you become a crucial component in the success of the conference.

As you take to connect with participants and facilitate conversations, you will experience firsthand the truly grassroots efforts it takes to plan a monumental platform such as Lalkaar. As you join the Jakara Movement network, you will connect with the countless many who have contributed to Lalkaar, allowing you to gain meaningful connections, lifelong friendships, access to Letters of Recommendation, and career opportunities, to name only a few. We encourage you to bring your own personal taste in making Lalkaar that much better; there is always room for improvement, creativity, and revitalization.
