Jakara Movement Affiliate

Becoming a Jakara Affiliate:

Becoming a Jakara Movement Affiliate is a first-step towards a greater commitment to becoming a Sikh activist. You will become more familiar with the organization and learn about new opportunities to be an agent of change in the Sikh community.  We only ask for one year of involvement with the movement.

Affiliate Requirements:

• One year of participation with the organization
• Two points [1 point for attending conference + 1 point for any other Jakara Event (Regional preference)] -OR- 2 regional events for 1 point each
• $10 affiliate dues/year

Affiliate Privileges:

• Affiliate medal
• Newsletter
• Invitation to Jakara-affiliate events
• Affiliate discount on specific Jakara events
• Regional meetings
• General Decision-Making Assembly Member
